AmbersNature: Amber Ruehe was born and raised in south Florida. She started painting when she was a very young girl. Her mother was an art teacher and encouraged her art ability.She loves art so much that she majored in studio art at Florida State University. She worked as a sales associate at Bill's Art City turned into a Utrecht. There is where she had met a ton of wonderful artist. She has traveled all over the world for her husband job and currently resides in Germany. Her beginning collections were from her travels in Hawaii.Enjoying the beach and taking in all the beautiful land and sea creatures. Her most recent collections has brought her back to impressionism and realism. She been inspired by all the history Europe has to offer and her current collection displays her travels. For many years she has worked in acrylic,oil, and pen and ink, but about six years ago she switched her focus to watercolor. She likes to dabble in the other mediums, but her personal preference is watercolor and acrylic.
